Chrome crashes when printing to PDF
Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. Print causes Safari to crash. I get the dialog stating Safari "Quit Unexpectedly" and do I want to "reopen - report - ignore". I'm running macOS 15.2 on my mac mini (M1, 2020) with Safari 15.2. Printing from the same site on Chrome does not cause Chrome to crash. I can print from Safari without crashing it by changing to another user account (both accounts are admin accounts). Start up your Mac in safe mode – Apple Support (UK)Safe mode doesn't load any apps you've added which load on startup. It also does some tidying up of memory and disc. If the problem goes away when you run in safe mode then it was probably an app you have running in the background when logged in normally - maybe a firewall, network monitor, anti-virus app.If, after safe mode, restart and log in with the problem account the Safari print bug has gone away then it has been "fixed" by safe mode's tidying up. Try safe mode and see what happens.
